Reiki is an energetic healing modality that originated in Japan, founded by Mikao Usui. The word reiki stems from the Japanese word "Rei" - meaning Universal Life, and the word "Ki" - which refers to Energy. Reiki, therefore, is the divine universal life force that flows within all of us. This then allows you to connect in with your own innate healing energy - I am simply here to hold space for you and guide and connect you with this place. 

This healing is very subtle and gentle, and I may use either a hands-off or hands-on approach to transfer Reiki energy into your body and energetic field. 
 
It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free-flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

Reiki can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels, whether it's physical, mental, or emotional. Multiple sessions are recommended in order to continue balancing and shifting to get the most benefit.
